This User Agreement (Terms and Conditions) governs your use of lahmee.com, the Lahmee mobile applications, and related matchmaking services (the “Services”). The Services are operated by Lahmee LLC, a Georgia, United States limited liability company (“Lahmee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
1. Purpose of the Services
Lahmee helps individuals seeking a life partner for marriage connect with potential partners. Use the Services for personal matchmaking purposes. We do not guarantee a match, marriage, or any particular relationship outcome.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this Agreement. You must also meet any applicable legal requirements for using the Services in your location. Do not register on behalf of another person without their authorization or misrepresent your age, identity, or marital status.
3. Registration and Account Security
Provide accurate and complete profile information and keep it current. Maintain only one personal account. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account. Do not share your password. Contact support@lahmee.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend accounts with inaccurate information, duplicate profiles, or violations of this Agreement.
4. Member Conduct
Respect other members and use the Services lawfully. You must not:
- Impersonate anyone or publish deceptive profile information.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or discriminate against other members.
- Upload unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, or infringing material.
- Send spam, advertisements, scams, or solicitations for money.
- Introduce malicious software, interfere with the Services, or bypass security controls.
- Scrape, harvest, or distribute member profiles or contact information.
- Use the Services or member information to operate a competing or other commercial service.
Do not use Lahmee to solicit dowry or engage in coercion. Report inappropriate behavior to support@lahmee.com.
5. Profiles and Interactions
You are responsible for the information and content you submit and must have permission to share it. Profile screening or verification does not guarantee that every statement is accurate or that a member is safe. Exercise judgment when communicating, sharing personal details, or arranging meetings. You are responsible for your interactions with other members, including interactions outside the Services.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared. Review it before submitting profile information. Respect other members’ privacy and do not publish or reuse their photos, profiles, or messages without authorization.
7. Memberships, Payments, and Refunds
Some features may be available without charge; others require a paid membership. The price, duration, and payment conditions presented at purchase apply to that membership. Where a subscription renews automatically, review the renewal and cancellation information before purchasing. Purchases through an app store are also subject to that store’s payment and refund rules.
Stopping use of the Services or deleting an account does not itself cancel an app-store subscription. Cancel through the provider that processes your subscription. Unless required by applicable law, the purchase terms, or a written commitment from Lahmee, membership fees are not refunded when an account is terminated or a member stops using the Services.
8. Intellectual Property and License
Lahmee and its licensors retain rights to the Services, software, branding, and materials we provide. We permit you to access and use the Services for personal, noncommercial matchmaking, subject to this Agreement. This permission cannot be transferred or sublicensed. Do not reproduce, sell, or exploit the Services or other members’ content without authorization.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Lahmee permission to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Services and according to the Privacy Policy and your sharing choices. Submit only content you are entitled to use. We may remove infringing content or suspend accounts for infringement.
9. Communications and Feedback
We may send account, verification, service, and support communications using the contact details you provide or in-app notifications. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent requirements and available opt-out controls. Optional feedback may be used to improve our Services. Do not include confidential information in suggestions you submit for general product improvement.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Lahmee at any time and contact support@lahmee.com for account closure assistance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, misuse, security concerns, or as permitted by applicable law. Data associated with a closed account is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Payment obligations and provisions intended to survive termination remain applicable.
11. Service Availability and Responsibility
The Services may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, they are provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or successful matchmaking. Lahmee is not responsible for members’ independent conduct or relationship outcomes. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
12. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement and will identify changes through the last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Review the current terms periodically. If you do not accept updated terms, discontinue use of the Services.
13. Applicable Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, except where mandatory laws applicable to you provide otherwise. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in a forum available under applicable law.
